A Proposal on the Review of the Challenges and Prospects of Public Procurement Act 2007 in the Execution of Construction Projects in Nigeria
Objectives of the study
In line, with the statement of the problem above, the major objectives of this research are hereby stated:
- To determine the impact of public procurement Act in the execution of projects in Millennium tower.
- To determine the relationship between budgetary appropriation and actual funding for the implementation of public procurement in Construction industry.
- To identify challenges and prospects of public procurement implementation in Millennium tower.
CHAPTER TWO

CHAPTER THREE
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Introduction
The research work was centered on Implementation and management of public procurement in Millennium tower. To achieve the objectives of this study, scientific procedures were used to generate information from the respondents. The research methodology adopted encompasses, method of data collection, definition of target population and samples, method of data coding, analysis of data and finally the interpretation of results. The research methods that will be used in this work include both
“survey” because the phenomenon under research investigation was of the present and this method ultimately deals with the situation under investigation.
Research design
This study was carried out through administration of structured closed and open-ended questionnaire(s) and use of interviews on respondents that are involved in the public procurement Process mechanism during contract procurement system. The questionnaires helped to present data on the understanding of public procurement and its performance in the construction industry tendering process, and survey of the official Documents from Bursary Department were used to analyse the economic saving benefits of public procurement in the millennium tower. Since this research is primarily concerned with the management and implementation of public procurement in Abuja millennium tower. This research work is evaluative and descriptive in nature and it was aimed at determining or assessing the implementation of public procurement and some possible challenges faced in the course of the implementation.
