This definition of motivation given by Knootz in the sense that if the entries staff of Edo State is property motivated their needs, desires, wishes, there is every tendency that they must prove their worth by more. In an article entitled finance rewards as a job satisfaction tool to teacher in the business times, the writes G.C.O. Financial rewards covers in form of higher pay, cash gifts and financial assistance to teacher in from of car loans building and furniture, higher pay everything be equal will actually induce teacher to act more effort to work and improve productivity. RECOMMENDATION
The researcher having carried out fair study of the topic makes the following recommendations to the government and other employers of teachers. The teaching services board should be given it own commissioners. It is the opinion of the researcher due to the information retrieved and findings made thereafter that the teaching services boards should be given its own commissioners which well make it somewhat autonomous. This is in view of the present complex process of communication between the teachers and the government. The current system whereby teacher complaints are channeled via the chairman of the teaching service boards to permanent secretary in the ministry of education and finally to then government will no doubt cause a less in the unnecessary modifications of the original message resulting in loss of content which would bring about delays in government response. If this suggestion is looked at with merit, he chains of communication would be reduced and quick attention would be given to teachers issues which will turn enhance their performance.
